Now we finally get a look at the entire shoe, and we see that the collaborative converse trainers sneaker in question is the Converse Weapon . Celebrating Boston's proud Irish heritage with a definite nod to the legendary Celtic that wore the iconic hoops shoe during the 1980's, Larry Bird, the shoe sports a black and green leather upper with a white midsole.

Those pristine Air Jordan 11 s won't be the only sneaker to get a makeover inspired by the film, as Converse presents the Space Invader Pack. Larry Johnson' s Converse Aero Jam Mid gets covered in a magenta suede in a nod to Bupkus converse all star the Alien, the antagonist that stole his basketball talents in the 1996 movie. A galactic print arrives on the inside of the sneaker with a unique  World Domination' patch. The Converse Weapon Mid is also included featuring a callout to Marvin Martian (who never actually played in the game but instead served as an unbiased albeit frequently abused referee.

We've seen this methodology before, with vintage basketball sneakers like the Nike Dunk and Air Jordan 1 repurposed as a skate shoe.
